Are Bose Speakers Worth It?
Folks who have Bose speakers say they have fantastic sound quality and tech support team, even though their system is faster than most yet cost more. And others have different viewpoints. So let?s see whether Bose is actually worth the purchase.
Bose?s 3-2-1 system means that two Bose Articulated Array speakers are used rather than five, producing excellent surround sound quality and boasting a multi-channel output. Plus they employ a patented Acoustimass module, not a subwoofer, that may be placed anywhere in the home theater area and still produce fantastic, quality sound quality.
Like snapping fingers, you can connect everything with just one power twine and 3 wires. And installation means only 4 connections are necessary:
- media center with acoustimass module
- power outlet with acoustimass module
- television to media center
The Media Center unit contains an AM/FM tuner and integrated DVD player that plays just about any kind of CD / DVD ( regardless of whether they are rewrites, etc . ) Other features include an equalizer, amplifiers, 3 inputs with both digital coaxial and analog jacks. And one optical digital audio input is available for more audio connections you can need.
Some folk have reportedly found different sorts of Bose displays in stores.
Don?t fall madly in love with it till you give it radical testing with different music compositions and other programs - -and ask other people ( chums, family, etc . ) to test it, too.
Better safe than sorry! It much may be worth your investment. But why take a chance?

Bose acoustimass 10 center speaker issue with ps3?
I just got this Bose system and I have it connected to my PS3, the only issue I am having is the center speaker is not producing any sound when I play my "Creed Live" DVD. I have not tried a different dvd or even a game yet, but was wondering why I'm not getting any sound from it. I know it works and is plugged in because when I do anything in speaker set up I can hear the noises it makes to test them.
Checking on Amazon, it lists the DVD as having a DTS 5.1 soundtrack, which means it probably only has a 2.0 dolby sountrack, your Bose system might not process DTS sound and it plays the 2 channel (Left & Right) stereo soundtrack instead, or you might have to manually select the DTS 5.1 soundtrack from the disc setup menu.
