Can I put Super VHS video directly to my computer?
Ive seen all kinds of converters/adapters/programs etc. I just want to know if I can put my Super VHS video directly onto my computer and burn it to CD to send do my mother. We don't own a tv (or vhs or dv recorder of course). Is there a way I can just load from the camcorder to the pc. The Camcorder Has these on it: JVC Super VHS Digital Signal Processing SVHSC Picture Stabili9zer/TBC/CNR. It has four female ends labled A, V, S and the DC. Do I need an "S cable"?
Does your computer have a composite in, a video card?
That would be the only thing necessary. Connect the yellow cable to the composite-in which should be yellow too and the A (red or white or black) to the audio-in of your choice.
If your video-in card doesn't have an audio-in, then you have to use a cinch to 3.5mm converter cable and connect it to your audio-in of your choice (sound card, microphone jack).
